Firm History

Atwood, Holsten & Brown Law Firm, P.C., L.L.O., is a newly-formed firm born of the recent reorganization and division of the former Healey & Wieland Law Firm, established in 1929. Since its beginning at the start of the depression, Healey & Wieland was locally regarded as a respected association of lawyers whose practices included a wide variety of trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. Due to diverging litigation practices, separate operating locations, and the recent death of one of its founders, succeeding partners of Healey & Wieland elected to reorganize and divide the partnership into separate firms. One of those derivative firms is Atwood, Holsten & Brown Law Firm, P.C., L.L.O., which conducts business at 1133 H Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, and limits its practice to workers' compensation & personal injury cases for the plaintiff and the defense.

Atwood, Holsten & Brown Law Firm P.C., L.L.O., strives to strengthen its roots derived from the Healey & Wieland tradition of excellence. Atwood, Holsten & Brown Law Firm proudly continues to represent clients who first retained our predecessor firm in the 1940's. We believe that while our firm business model continues to evolve, our traditional value structure of experienced, reliable, and successful legal representation remains the same. Our firm is as mindful of its past as it is cognizant of its future. We strive to achieve unsurpassed client satisfaction in the 21st Century.
